I'm not sure if it is those exact words or even the year 1982 in the lyrics but it is something to that effect. I think it says "I hope heaven is like 1982, when everyone I loved was still alive" But again, I'm not really sure, I heard it only once about a year ago. Thank you for your help.

This is a country song about (i think the name's) Alyssa and apparently her parents beat her, and the daughter keeps asking the father why Alyssa lies, but he doesn't get it. When he finally gets it and resolves to do something about it, the girl "isn't at school." She's either dead or really badly hurt, i dont really know, but does anybody know anything about this song?

The song Hate me by Blue October is a great song, but i dont get the video. At first i thought that he was saying sorry to his girlfriend for being abusive,then i think that he died and he was saying sorry to his mom, then i thought his mom died and he was saying sorry to her cause it was his fault.
