you cant get that mad at some one because they just dont know. get cancer is kinda harsh. i started out with a tube, and went to solid state. i bi-amped and tri-amped and had an amp the size of a house. then i went back to a tube and it blew everything else i had away. you jam with others with solid states and you have a tube,it will create a furrow in their brow.

Although tub amps will play a more "warm" sound, you'd need to invest a lot more money. I've listened to tubes before, and it does sound better, however, i am not stupid enough to invest in it. I would rather have a solid-state super-power amp for stereo/home theatre. Something like a 300 wpc can kill any tube amp in terms of loudness with no or little distortion.
