well, i think im gonna get a 5 peice drum set, but it doesnt come with cymbals. if i got a new drum set, i would be playin classic rock, hard rock, maybe a little punka/ska and maybe some metal. what would be a good, affordable, and not too heavy(i'll be playin in my parents house most of the time)

I've become very interested in songs that feature a prominent male and female voice, a duet of some sort between the two.

Some good examples are "Broken" (featuring Seether and Amy Lee from Evanescence), and "The Last Night" by Skillet.

Know any other good songs that have a male and female voice singing? I'd greatly appreciate it.

There is a real famous and classic spanish guitar song, that is usually played solo...has no words....and it starts like: "TA-DAN...(pause)...Ta-ta-ta-tah-tah-tahh-tahhh....(pause)..... tah-tah-tah-tah-tahh-tahhh-tahhhhh....tah-dan-dant-dant-dant. It's like a toreodores intro song. Its only an instumental, almost ALWAYS a solo, SPEEDS up to a frenzy..... It's hard to find it when it's an intrumental without words to quote....sorry...

I'm trying to teach myself to play piano, but I'm using this software and I'm kind of getting frustrated. It would be easier for me if I could use the pedal, but I've read some books that say that when reading music you should use the sustain pedal only sparingly. Right now I don't have the pedal hooked up, but I'm about to hook it up becuase I'm playing 3rds, and it's difficult to switch from one third to another like a G# and E third to a F and C# third. I'm not a contortionist. How do we do that. There is no fingering numbers. I think I'm supposed to figure out the fingering ahead of time. The software shows me some music to play and I play to a metronome. I'm hitting too late, or lifting up to get to the next position too early. It's also making my hands tired. Am I cheating by using the pedal?
