I think it is by the moody blues but cannot find it on itunes. I think it goes something like "i'm looking forrrr a miricle in my life" and so on. help!

The song is by Moody Blues, its called Question.

I believe that Masterkacey is correct. It's "Question" by the Moody Blues. There is a passge in the song with the following lyrics:

I'm looking for someone to change my life.
I'm looking for a miracle in my life.
And if you could see what its done to me
To lose the the love I knew
Could safely lead me through.
