Personally I think "Old Red Eyes is Back" is the best. It kind of reminds me why I should not turn back to drinking 9 litres of white lightening cider a day. Perhaps we feel closer to music that says something about our lives.
I remember my mother buying "Sail the Ship Alone" as a single, probably the first single she had bought in 10 years.

Old red eyes is back.

I had a friend who was an alcoholic who died, and the song was played at his funeral, it was so fitting, there were three local pub landlords at the funeral, and everyone laughed when it started playing. It was his choice, he had cancer as well as being an alcoholic, he knew he was going to die, so he chose it himself, he knew it would make us all laugh.

Everytime I play it I now think of him, and I miss him.

xx
