Is there anything I can use for a pick because I lost mine... All the music stores are closed and I really want to practice. I have an accoustic guitar.

Got any old credit card offers laying around? Credit cards work great, and the edge is already rounded off. Just cut it to the size you want.

Whenever I would lose my pick I would take a soda tab from the can. It always worked well enough for me, considering we always have a good supply of sodas. If you don't have any soda cans laying around, you could always try to use some form of change, like a nickle or a quarter...

my brother cut out a piece of a folder he had in the shape of a pick and used it once when something similar happened to him. It seemed to work fine!

umm i play bass and i use a quarter, but for a guitar you would need something thinner so i suggest either buying some from wal-mart or using a nickel.

You can use your finger, or fingernail. I always use my fingernail when I play. You get the same sound as a pick if you use the nail, but it does hurt a little bit, but you get used to it.
