And i know that when she said she's gonna try well it might not work because of other ties and i know she usually has some other ties and i wouldn't want to break them, no I wouldn't want to break them Maybe she'll help me to untie this but until then well, I’m gonna have to lie to ya.

i need a poem, my english teacher said to bring in a poem to class tomorrow. she said it can be anything, and i have to read it in front of the class. i came here because all the ones i looked up on the net were too long.

i cannot stand it...I posted up some MCR and Taking back sunday pics on my locker and almost eveyone that walked pasted was like "YOU LISTEN TO THEM??? THATS WHITE PPL MUSIC''!. Seriously, im just being myself and i hate how ppl feel that rock music is for white ppl and that same goes for rap for black ppl. I mean i love hiphop too~ Anyone feel the same way/?

I'm usually "pretty good" at naming who sings what...but this one totally escapes me. I heard it on the radio a few MONTHS ago..and I STILL can't remember.

It's old(er)...."80s"-ish...male group/NOT hip hop...
Some of the lines in the chorus are...

.............??????????

another part in the background is the backing male vocals singing
"hello - hello - heaven"
the song ends with all members singing

There's an Eminem song out there - I'm not sure how old - that I caught on the radio today. It goes something along the lines of "Everytime I try to get away. . . someone's holding on to me" and then the chorus background sings "Whoa aho . . ."

Tenacious D is a funny band, so why am I nearly crying when I listen to this song? It's off the Pick of Destiny album. I'm on the verge of tears whenever I listen to this song.

If you know this song, it came out in 1990-1991. But I could swear I heard
that song way before that time.
It just gives me that feeling I've known this song all my life!

Google says The La's are the original writers.
But I really doubt it. It really sounds like a 60-70's cover.
As if Tommy James and the Shondells could've wrote it.

Who knows a bit more?
Could you parents have this song on some old record from way back?

My band director doesn't treat the students in my class the same. I have applied music last period (that's where we practice our instruments). The one day that I am not practicing my clarinet, my band director says he is going to lower mine, and three other people's grades (because they weren't practicing either). But, everybody in my class does something wrong, and my band director doesn't do anything to them. Do you think that's fair??

I love my saxophone, and I love to play it. I often listen to recordings of the songs we're doing in my School's Concert Band, and I have 3 music books that my mom got. I also do well in band, but do you think it's kinda weird that I love instrumental music so much? I dont seirously want to be called a "Band Geek."
