i cannot stand it...I posted up some MCR and Taking back sunday pics on my locker and almost eveyone that walked pasted was like "YOU LISTEN TO THEM??? THATS WHITE PPL MUSIC''!. Seriously, im just being myself and i hate how ppl feel that rock music is for white ppl and that same goes for rap for black ppl. I mean i love hiphop too~ Anyone feel the same way/?

I feel the same way.My mom even says "why are you listening to that white people music?" It irritates me too.I love all kinds of music. There shouldn't be "white music" and black music."One of my favorite bands are The all American Rejects.

the blues is the root for rock and rap. dig back a bit talking
blues was rap 60 yrs. ago. and bob Dylan was doing rap
40 yrs. ago... there`s only good or bad music and good music comes in a lot of colors and tastes, those who are hung up on
one style and puts down others usually follow the blind sheep.
good music passes the test of time, it always sounds good...
other music sounds like crap after a few years.......
so dig what you like and listen on !

People just choose to be ignorant like that. I love hip hop, but i really like this band called Incubus. They didnt sound like all that heavy rock stuff. I don't like the heavy stuff- I guess I have a stereotype for music like the devil worshipping with Merlyin Manson, and Ozzy, but hey it's still music, so do you...

oh i mean it really doesnt matter what you like to listen. there has to be no difference in that. well i like to listen to hip hop more than rock and im white :S...just be yourself and do whatever you want, not what others think.
