Will any rap, hip-hop ect.. artists or songs become like Michael Jackson, Beatles, Hendrix, ect.. or is the music of this generation just not the same.

I was driving in my car earlier and heard a song....sounded like a dance remix, I think it said something about "get freaky" or atleast that is what it sounded like, and thats all I can remember becuase its been a few hours and it said freaky a bunch of times.......I have tried googling lyrics for "get freaky" and none of those songs are it.....so if anyone has heard a new dance mix pop song please let me know!

Back in the 1970's, the Bee Gees and some soul singers sings with a female like high tone voice that people finds appealing.
Frankly, I felt uncomfortable with this style (I'm more of a James Ingram, Peebo Bryson affincionado.)

But I just want to know why some people find male singers with effeminate voice appealing?
