I can't stop listening to Animal Rights, especially these two songs "Living" and "That's When I Reach for My Revolver" Both songs are so thematically different...yet played over and over and over again at a very high decibel...it's amazing what it's doing to my head.

Last night I received my favorite artist's newest album, and I am sad to say that though the cd has a lot of good tracks, I can't help but feel betrayed because his styles and lyrics have changed so much from where he began. It's almost like a comletely different artist. I understand that musicians grow and mature, but sometimes I feel very disappointed with the direction in which they take their music. Does anyone else feel this way sometimes?

There's a music video. In this video, the singer is a black woman. I couldn't guess her age. I think the name of the song is "I'm feeling golden" or at least that's part of the chorus. It's real happy and upbeat. I recall that she reminded me of the woman on "The View" w/ Barbara Walters and the lady that advertises Pinesol
