Forget about the drums and concentrate on the singing/guitar bit. Start the band and see how it goes, it will probably come to nothing bout at least you'll have good times and a few stories for the grandchildren.
The most important thing is to have loads of fun..that's what it's all about.
And your mom...well....rebellion is part of the music thing. It would be boring otherwise.

I think that you need to stay in school and learn to spell. You should listen to your mom - you might not think so, but she's doing what she believes is best for you.

you can start it as long as not to forget your studies and if it is from your heart, why wont? this is a talent... an opportunity... why wont go for it.. your mom will understand you...
