Is this a valid excuse for the awful and unharmonius music of today, which describes most of it?

I like some modern music, I could even enjoy some rap, but, wow, it's so fully of nasally singers or random beats that I can't understand how anyone can enjoy most of them.

To each their own, but sometimes crap is crap, no matter what supposed hypocrisy can be found.

Grandads birthday is next week and I thought it would be nice to compile a music cd for him.
He is 65. He was born in Germany but has lived in England for 50 years.
Do any of you kind people have any good suggestions.
I've already got 'Grandad', by Clive Dunn
and 'When I'm 64', by the Beatles (I know its a year late).
Any suggestions would be helpful. Ta.

Holy crap. There are so many that are still using that old Alice In Chains/ Nirvana formula. Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin, Staind, that crappy Blue October band, Saliva, Chevelle, etc. Please name some more for me here.

I need a footswitch for my Marshall MG50DFX that has 2 buttons, one for channel and one for DFX (Digital FX). Will this one work: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Marshall-Footswitch-for-MG100HDFX?sku=486009 ? It says "for MG100HDFX & MG250DFX" but it has channel selection and DFX and that's what I need. Can someone help me figure out what kind of footswitch will work? I would like a Marshall footswitch to go along with the amp.

I am looking for some good dance/trance music. The type of music you would maybe hear in a nightclub? Perhaps some classic dance anthems from the 90's? Thanks in advance

In about an hour, I am trying out for my high school's performance of Suesical the Musical. They WANT us to sing a song that's in Suessical, (they even did a workshop on Tues. so we could learn them) but that is a bad idea because then they only see you as the character you tried out for, and if it wasn't what they are looking for, they only see you as 'not that character' instead of 'how about that character?'. What type of song should I sing? Jazzy, something really brassy, something pretty, what? I don't know any of the songs or characters, so that could work to my advantage. Or not.

The person auditioning us is being really unproffesional and bragging about this freshman who has done proffesional stuff, sings at weddings, &c. and she personally knows her. I don't stand a good chance, but everyone else trying out tonight feels the same way. Any good suggestions on how to calm my nerves?

My thoughts because of Mike Shinoda being with Fort Minor, it might be hard for them to assemble back as a group.

I heard a song on the radio and I was wondering who sang it. It was a country song and all I can remember is the line:

I dont know what she said but I love the way she said it.
