Why do they talk over / advertise other shows / speed up / edit the end credits? There have been a few good films on recently which I record, copy onto a DVDRW to keep (no I'm not too tight to buy the DVDs, sometimes this method is good enough for me). It really annoys me when the end credits start to roll and suddenly they squish onto one side of the screen so the announcer can tell all about what's coming next (not as if we don't have magazine listings handy or onscreen listings).
I know it's a way to keep the viewer on that channel but it's just pigging annoying. I can remember when they rolled full listings with no voice-over at the end (how uncool eh?).

Hey everyone! I'm just wondering just how many of us is really looking foward to the 5th Harry Potter movie. Have you liked the way that the movies have portrayed the books? Don't want to sound smug but a sports mantage meaning when theres no speaking, just a cheesy rock song playing and scenes an athelete/atheletes training or succeding.

...chose to use supposed settings in Claremont, Pomona & Palm Springs to replace West Hills & Santa Barbara (from the real life events) in the film? The scenes don't even look like they were shot in the places that he says they were for the most part. Of course the windmills are tell tale, but nothing else looks remotely like Claremont or Pomona. I mean, Circus liquor is in North Hollywood! I just wonder if he has ties to the San Gabriel Valley and wanted to use the names for that reason or...?
