I know it was a pretty big book and it would be really hard to add every last detail but I would like it to be as faithful to the book as possible. I've been looking forward to it for a long time and I am really excited to see it. I hope it's great.
I preordered my book already so I am bursting for July to get here already!
HP rocks!

I'm greatly anticipating the movie. I've seen the last four at least ten times each. The movies are so much fun and it's really interesting getting to examine and analyze the way the books are similar and different from the films. I can't tell you how faithful the film will stay to the movie, but I think it's a safe bet to assume that all of the most important parts in the book will be showcased in the movie. I did read an interview with the screenwriter about what got cut. He said Ron playing quidditch was cut, which unfortunately will probably bum out a lot of fans. I'm looking forward to the big climactic fight at the end of the book and the following conversation that Harry has with Dumbledore. I can't wait to boo and hiss at Umbridge as well.

For the first time since they began making the books into movies, I am not looking forward to the latest Harry Potter movie. I have read the book and do not like the dark direction that the author is taking with the characters.

Last time I read HP5 was two years ago, and since then I've forgotten a lot...but don't worry! I'm reading it again right now, freshen up on the details before the movie and HP7 come out!!!
I like the movies, overall, because I like the plot of the books. But the movies themselves, disregarding the plot, I feel could be better...IMO Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson just ruined the characters Harry and Hermione for me, in the books. But the other actors are fantastic, so I guess they've made me like some of the characters more.
Can't wait till this comes out!!!

Oh, I'm really excited! My friends and I are hoping to see the midnight showing! I have mixed feelings about how the movies portray the books, as much as I love the actors and graphics, the script seems to change the characters slightly (for ex. Hermione's line in PoA "Does my hair really look like that from behind?", it's something I don't think she'd say). I hope this movie tries it's hardest to stay faithful to the book, but I already know that the prefect and quidditch storylines have been cut. I'm really looking forward to see Fred and George's escape, that scene seems really awesome.

Hey! i love these types of questions! haha
well ive been follwing Hp for a long time and i have all movies and books of it! i think the books are better, because u really know waht the characters are thinking, but the movies are awesome too! sometimes the moives have added things that arent even in the book, like in the 4th movie when in the potions closet the durmstrang headmaster person is showing snape his dark mark secretly, that ruined some stuff for ppl who havent even red the books!

I am REALLY looking foward to the 5th Harry Potter movie!!! I have like the way the books are portrayed, but some of the stuff they leave out of the movies are kind of disapointing. Like, i heard they are leaving out Nevilles Parenst scence. i was really looking foward to that scene. I think they stay as faithful to the book as possible... its not like Eragon. They do leave some stuff out, but they stay true to the natural plot. I am looking foward to see Lupin again, he is one of my favorite characters, and i love that he gets to come back. i am also looking foward to the scene when Fred and George escape, that should be cool. and all the DA meetings... and when they get caught and stuff. the entire ending, from when they are escaping the castle to go to the Minestry of Magic until they get back... i think i'll like that part, because that was my favorite part of the book.
but i am REALLY looking foward to the entire minestry of magic scene and fight... that should be awesome.
hopefully this is a good movie, and i can't wait till i go and see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am looking forward to seeing the fight at the Ministry of Magic. Overall, I just wish some of the smaller details, such as big feasts and holiday celebrations were shown more. I think that would be neat to see because it portrays what we all imagine life in a castle would be like. I love the casting, the characters are pretty much what I imagined what they would be like.

I really liked the movies, and my mother is addicted to HP for some reason. I wish we had midnight shows here in Mexico as well, so i could take my Mom watch the movie as soon as it comes out..
I'm looking forward to the book more than the movie though, i'm dying to find out what's gonna happen with HP on the last book, it's driving me nuts.. lol..

OH my god I can't wait I know that's geeky but I've grown up with Harry and I can't wait to see the 5th movie because it's my favorite book. I was really glad that they have a new director than the 4th one though cuz that sucked. I'm sure they won't stay completely faithful because the book is so freaking long but I'm sure it will be good. I can't wait to see their take on Sirius's house and I really want to meet the movie Luna. *spoiler warning* This is also the saddest one in my opinion because Sirius is one of my favorite characters and it was so unexpected that he died. I mean, we all expected Dumbledore to die eventually but I loved Sirius.
