I thought Bruce Almighty was pretty funny, and the previews to the sequel look promising.

I'm pretty sure there will be documentaries made to combat Michael Moore's claims in his new movie. Same as it was with movies that countered Fahrenheit 911 ...in case u don't know there was "Celsius 41.11" and "FahrenHYPE 911"

So what are some good names for counters to "Sicko" ?

It was definitely not gibberish. Nothing in these movies is an accident or meaningless.

It's getting frustrating seeing one film series after another (Harry Potter, Pirates, The Matrix, Star Wars, etc...), for those of us who aren't "hardcore" fans, where they build up all these confusing, and complex mythologies, and subplots, that really aren't pertinent to the central story, and each installment in the series becomes more convoluted. Not to mention the overlength (most escapism type movies don't really need to be longer then 2 hours).

Whatever happened to straight forward storytelling, with one central theme, and a few central characters?? Movies where you didn't need to watch each one more then once to understand the story, and all the characters. I think it's just bad screenwriting, and the idea, that "more is always better."

I'd never read a Harry Potter book, before I saw the first film, and I was like, who are these people?? It was as if the filmmakers just dived right into the story, assuming everyone was already well acquantied with these characters.
