There is a possibilty. The writers said they weren't going to create a new one, but *SPOILER 4 THIRD MOVIE* Barbossa was talking to some of the crew about the Fountian of Youth. That's what Jack was looking at on the Charts, the fountain of youth. And wouldn't it be lovely to have Will and Elizabeth's son in it? The producers of the movie said that since Elizabeth still loved Will, and he kept his duties as captain of the Dutchman, he can return to land. & stay on land. But Keira Knightley said she may not return as Elizabeth. She said in a magazine she's been playing her character since she was seventeen, and she's grown up and moved on. But you can't have a pirate movie without Elizabeth! But if they do, I'm sure she'll be in it. I bet it's really fun to play Elizabeth, and it probably pays a lot. We can remain hopeful that there is another movie.

They have already started writing it, but they aren't sure if it will be filmed yet. Judging from the money the first three movies made, Disney would be stupid not to make another one. So I think they will.
In fact, I have heard rumors (although that's all they are right now) that Johnny Depp has already signed to do a fourth movie and that filming is schedueled to begin in 2009. But like I said, none of that is confirmed.
If they do make another movie, Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightly will not be in it. Personally, I think that could be a good thing, as it gives them an opportunity to drastically simplify the next film by a simple "adventure of Captain Jack" without all the baggage that comes with Will and Elizabeth's characters - not that I don't like them, I just think it would be nice to have a simpler story, something more like the first movie, which in my opinion is the best of the three (and my all-time favorite movie!)
I for one would love to see something about Jack going to find the fountain of youth and getting his ship back again, since that's what the third movie set us up for - I would also like to see something about Jack with Will and Elizabeth's son. Jack could get into a lot of funny predicaments if the filmmakers stuck him with a little kid ....
whatever they do, I hope they make another one soon, because I REALLY like these movies a LOT .... :O)

Judging by the end of the last Pirates movie, there might be. But yet, it may not have Kiera or Orlando in it. Kiera said she was ready to move on to something new. She started acting in the first Pirates at age 19, and now she's 21.

They ARE writing a screenplay, but it will be a spinoff movie focusing on Jack since Johnny wants to do another one, but Keira Knightley is tired of the series. Disney officially announced that if there is another movie, it'll be a spinoff, not a continuation of the current storyline. The first three movies were made to be a trilogy, and end that way. Overall, a spinoff is in the works, and if the screenplay is good enough, it'll be produced.

I've heard that there are two more in the works, but I haven't seen anything official. One Disney official was quoted as saying At World's End would probably not be the last.

I've heard that none of the stars want to do another but Disney is chucking money at them to try and get them to make a fourth. Disney- you can have every cent i own! oh and elizabeth isn't a princess, somebody said she was in their response. ps- serious <3333 to johnny and orlando *drool*

My opinion is yes because how At Worlds' End has ended---Also, Another Spiderman movie...Recommendation-Rise of the Silver Surfer-(good on special effects, short movie-humor-fun time).....Thanks for asking....have a good evening...Peace..

the chances are 50-50. in the third movie Will and the princess finaly get married like we knew they would and Will is the captian of that boat. he gave that princess his heart. the hole thinf ended the series. but yet again, they have made three movie, why would they stop there.

YEs johnny depp wants to do another one because he is becoming big again he wasnt big before the first one he like disappeared so there probably is going to be
