Yesterday when I first saw star wars episode III I was really depressed and mellow yesterday. Today I'm not as depressed as I was yesterday but I'm still very mellow. My mom is very worried. She says I'm always hyper every day but I'm not today or yesterday. I even hardly talk to anyone. I did cry when padme died but not when anikan turned into dark vadar. I'm very worried what is wrong with me?

You're simply reacting strongly to the emotions of the movie. Add in any stresses in your personal life not mentioned above and you're going to be in a bit of an odd mood. It will pass. I can speak from experience: when I saw Episode III, I came out of the theater rather shell-shocked. I was very quiet and contemplative for the next day or so, remembering what I had seen. Darth Vader is one of my all-time favorite characters, but seeing what happened to turn a Jedi into such a dark person left me a bit shaken and "off" for a while.

I would suggest going out and doing some of your favorite activities to help you perk up a bit. If you can, you might even want to watch the old Star Wars movies: you'll see the character that went so wrong and so dark turn back to the light through the love of another. It's sad as well, due to some of the plot twists, but it will hopefully leave you feeling more upbeat afterwards.

As far as crying when Padme died and not when Anakin turns (physically) into Darth Vader? Padme's death is tragic and senseless: she really didn't deserve what happened to her and didn't really bring it on herself. Anakin, on the other hand, brought about his own transformation when he defied Obi-Wan and tried to continue the duel, even when he was at an immense strategic disadvantage (in fact, Kenobi tells him "Don't try it"). So there's little bit of a "he deserved what he got" feel to it, though it's still tragic in its own way.

It's a depressing a movie. It really doesn't end on an up note as Anakin has firmly taken the dark side, Padme dies, the kids are scattered to foster parents, and all the rest of the good guys in the galaxy have to hide...

maybe the movie made you think about problems you've had in your life.......maybe when padme died it reminded you of a lost loved one. Or maybe when Anikan turned to Darth Vadar it made you think of a friend or loved one who turned on you.....think about your life problems and see if any of them can relate to the movie

You need to watch episodes 4-6 again. The six episodes show the fall and redemption of Darth Vader.

I don't think anything is wrong, people go through different emotions all the time, some last longer than others. I've had days when I just want to be left alone, and others when I crave for attention.

I'm sorry, but you're worried about your mental state because of your reaction to a movie? There's nothing wrong with you - everybody has their ups and downs.

Um, you worry to much. Just sit back and enjoy the freakin movie for what it is, a movie. Not a test to tell weather you severely depressed or not.

You were emotionally affected by a movie for the first time? It's fine. It makes you human.
