Does anybody else remember it? Its a childrens film, was always on over the christmas holidays for some reason during the 80's.There was these ugly looking vulture like creatures in it, One of which had a glass eye i'm sure, & the main character was elf-like with long blonde hair & pointed ears.

I watched a movie in the fall of 2006. It was about a computer virus saved onto a memory stick and this guy uploaded it to his computer by accident, and somehow the virus kept spreading to people through their electronics and eventually they'd die. It was a thriller movie, and I think it starts with an S... And I know the DVD cover looks like a face made out of a bunch of people laying in big piles n stuff... Anyone got the name of this movie?

I have been a fan of John Carpenter's origianl Halloween for as long as I can remember, it is a classic horror film that can never be touched by any sequel or copycat slasher.

But with all this hype about Rob Zombie's Halloween hitting theaters in late August of 2007 I couldn't help but wonder, is this re-make/reinvention of the film a bad idea?

I personally don't think Zombie (of all directors) has any business coming near this classic, let alone trying to re-make and improve it. His other films (House Of 1000 Corpses & The Devils Rejects) were just typical horror films that were forgettable at best.

Has anyone else noticed he ALWAYS gives some big part in his films to his wife, Sheri Moon Zombie? You know, the blonde woman who can't act. And this film is no exception.

Zombie has been quoted as saying he thinks the character of Dr. Sam Loomis in the original film was used for mostly dramatic affect. Popping in every so often to say something dramatic.

Opinions?
