Tough Selection. I love them both, very much. OK, I guess I would vote for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as #1 but The Shining is right behind it then.

I haven't seen One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, so naturally I would have to go with The Shining, but only if it's the 1997 miniseries version with Steven Weber and Rebecca de Mornay. That one held to the book a lot more then the Stanley Kubrick version did.

Saw Cuckoo's Nest at the drive-in Pueblo in 19 seventy something in the pouring rain w/my mom. Became a life-long fan of Nicholson that evening. Cuckoo's Nest for the baseball game scene.
