when is the movie Grindhouse coming out on DVD?

The movie was made by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez and Stars Bruce Willis, Freddy Rodriguez, Rose McGowan, and Josh Brolin.

...www.videoeta.com estimates the release date at around the September timeframe; however, due to the dismal box office returns of the film, I wouldn't be surprised if they bump the DVD release date back a month or so (perhaps August???).

...per recent report from the Weinstein Co., the DVD release is supposed to contain not only the original theatrical presentation of "Grindhouse", but also the separate (and longer) overseas separate-feature versions of "Planet Terror" and "Death Proof" (all cleaned up, with no scratches and jump cuts, and with the missing reels re-inserted!!....personally, I'll take the theatrical version anytime!!!)

...'rumor control' has it, that they might even theatrically release the extended versions on the U.S. screens, on a limited-play basis...

According to DavisDVD, Genius Entertainment and The Weinstein Co. will release DEATH PROOF – Quentin Tarantino’s segment of GRINDHOUSE on September 18th. No word yet on Robert Rodriguez’s PLANET TERROR, but this seems to confirm the rapid speculation that the theatrical double feature will be split up for the initial home video release. Oh well, hopefully they'll release an uncut edition where the film will be attached together, like the way we saw it in theatres.
