"Harvey" or "To Kill a Mockingbird" or just about anything Hitchcock
Musical: "The Sound of Music" & "West Side Story" in a dead heat. The music/dancing are better in WSS, but I love that love story in SoM...

Favorite old movie is really hard for me as I don't really like new movies and I'm not sure what you mean as old. Old could be old as in a Billy Wilder film, which would be
"One Two Three", but then we are in the 60's which for some people is old,but not really for me, but then we have old as in really early movies and there I come to a point of oh dear, I like so many, but as I just watched it last night I'll put down "The Maltese Falcon" mostly because I do love it and it comes to mind. Ok, muscial easy, no hands down, West Side Story, the best movie ever made. That was easy. Just watched that the night before, into watching movies we have around the house and haven't seen for awhile, but know we love, and have had the music going through my head, so watched it and realized in all these years Bernstein and Sonheim really knew what they were doing and the movie hasn't lost a bit of it's spark, this was after watching Dreamgirls, which surprised me by being much better than I thought. Saw the original shortly after it opened on Broadway oh so many years ago.

I just bought my favorite old musical and it is not what one might expect. I love Evita and the music from it but my secret true favorite is Naught Marietta with Jeanette Macdonald and Nelson Eddy. I finally bought it and I've been singing the songs for days. I have a ton of old favorites. I like the movies from the 40's. . .and that is before my time but I love to watch the way they use lights and shadows and I like to see an actual background and check the credits for the location. I've also started listening to music that was popular before me. So much is just not out there and there is some fabulous stuff. I'm just getting into Benny Goodman. Favorite movies. . .I would have to watch them often. . .Titanic. . .the last one, Jaws the first two, Pride and Prejudice. . .just love Jane Austen that great women's libber of her day, Humphrey Bogart movies made with Lauren Bacall and Casablanca, GWTW. A couple of strange ones are Double Jeopardy and White Palace. . . and Wolf and The Goonies. I guess my favorite is Willow. I never thought about it but I guess I like those romantic ones. . .oh yea. . . all Micheal Douglas . ..especially Romancing the Stone, the Terminators and all of Bruce Willis' action movies. This could go on forever. . .there are just too many.
