Try the Trilogy of Terror, from 1975. My parents 'let' us watch it (we were under 10), and we cried the whole night. It's this little African voodoo doll thing that has a soul in it and he's after this woman with his little sword. Omg, it was remade in 1996, and it still scared the you know what out of me.

I'd have to say and I'm an early 80s baby although I'm disappointed with what the definition of horror films Is cause I be never seen one in 30 years but I'll have to say TALES FROM THE HOOD....scene/STORY4 NIGGLET DOLLS omg Lord I can honestly say I had to get up and turn on the lights cause I thought they were running through the house the first time I saw this.....😂😂💯💯💯💯✔✅✅✔✔

I'm going to have to go with "Tales From The Hood"! As a whole. it's not a "doll" movie but one of the 4 stories was about killer dolls! They were dolls possesed by the the spirits of dead slaves on a plantation! They were called "nigglets" and they scared the s--t outta me!

i do not remember wut its called but it was recently released and it was about one one of those doll talker peoples and she died and became a ghost and if you screamed when you saw her she'd rip out your tounge! scary crap!
