...unfortunately, the last film I saw, which featured Jeremy Irons, was probably bottom-of-the-barrel for him to do; that film was that gawd-awful remake of "The Time Machine", from (2002). The villianous character he played, was a veritable 'walk-on' roll.....virtually a phoned-in performance, and very unlike the striking and esoteric type of roles he has been known for.

Certainly not one of his best, or one to remember him for, but did see Eragon. The movie not as bad as expected, but Jeremy Irons shines no matter what he is in. A far cry from Brideshead Revisited.
