I heard that the film 300 sort of made fun of the Athenians, that they weren't brave enough like the Spartans. What do you think happened after the heroic but -obviously- unsuccessful resistance of the 300 Spartans and Leonidas in Thermopylae (Hot Gates)? The Persian invadors started to occyupy Greece, but it was the Athenians who defeated them and destroyed their army forever more in the battle of Salamis, in 480 BC, like they had done 10 years earlier in the battle of Marathon. Xerxes had put a throne up on a mountain to watch the battle, certain or his victory, but he had to watch the total destruction of his fleet by the Athenians, under the command of Themistocles, resulting in Xerxis going back to Persia in hiding and on foot! I wonder how many of the non-Greek people who watched the movie know that, please let me know.

It was playing in the scene of the movie when Lil' Kim and that guy had their love scene. It sounded like a really pretty song and I wanted to hear the whole thing.

So I know 'cameo' originally refered to a type of engraving...how did it get to "cameo role"? Is it because the early ones, like Hitchcok, walked directly accross the screen, so that the side view mimmicked real cameos?

it was made im guessing between like 1985 and 1989 i think ...maybe early 90's im not sure but i know the car was like a convertible grand am i think it was red


and one kid was older maybe like 10 and the other was like 6 or 7

i was thinking it was named mac and me but that was a movie about some little alien that was made around the same time and its not wizard with fred savage that was also another movie around that time...

any help would be appreciated thanks

Why did Michael Bay approve of flames on him?, c'mon thats too much, flames only belong on Hot Rod & Rodimus Prime, apparently Michael Bay doesn't know Transformers as much as the true fans do, what do you people think?, do any of you dissaprove of what Michael Bay has done with Transformers?

this film starts out with like 3 or 4 people walking through this jungle like place and this guy in ahelicopter crashes and the only thing he was able to save was a arm and a leg or something like that. and he gets turned into a robot like.and towards the end of the film there is robots firing away on each other. i cant seem to think of what the movie was, the name of it. can anyone help me!!!

Ive heard rumors like The Rock, Jon Scena, even an Arnold return, but I dont think they should have any of these guys. I think they need someone like Vin Diesel, or Christian Bale (hes one of those actors that gets pumped or looses wait for a role).

Who thinks they need to make it w/ more of a Predator theme?
Like a space mission where the character lands on a planet w/ a team of specialists looking for a certain cure or something that is affecting everything on earth, and they stumble upon a group of Predators in the middle of a hunt,... or something like that.

Yeah, they're making a movie called 'Freddy VS Jason VS The Survivor's Club' about all the victims of movie slashers who actually 'survived' at the end of the movies. They formed a club but alas are now being picked off one by one. Only ONE survivor of the survivors will remain. Who will it be? I'm guessing the chic from Friday the 13th Part 2 that drove the VW! LOL! Bee-atch was baaad! ;-)

I'm not sure if any of you actually got a chance to view this movie, but Wil Smith, and his son did an awesome job! It's a very poignant story of one man's rise from rags to riches. I don't think this movie received an oscar, but it should have! This is actually based on a true story! ( ^ _ ^ )

I saw the movie "Cube", loved it, and figured "Cube Zero" might be able to answer questions, being that it's supposed to be a prequel. It answered my questions with more questions, and the one that sticks out the most...are the characters Wynn, from Zero, and Kazan, from the original, the same person? Or was Kazan just a technician like Wynn? I've looked around on a bunch of bloggy websites, but I haven't been able to find any definitive answers. I HAVE TO KNOW THE ANSWER!!! I'm sure, of course, that this question is brought up by design, and we're just supposed to keep on wondering, but if anybody has a definitive answer or link, PLEASE SHARE!

At the end before the 300 Spartans get killed they seemed to know they were going to die. What made this battle different than the one's before. Why didn't they keep fighting in the passage. Was it because the Persians were just so much this time?
