Yes. They are talking about different possible ideas for the film. I guess depending on what they come up with they will make it. According to an interview with Robert Englund Bruce Campbell will be in it should it be made. Also, Michael Meyers might be in it as well. I hope they make it. I had a long answer but I'll make it short. Jason, Freddy, Michael Meyers etc are classic characters in the world of horror villians. And as long as new things can be done without compromising the integrity of the character/original story (at least not too much) I like sequels, but Kane Hodder must play Jason.

It is true and I watched the trailer! Freddy is going to turn into some freaky monster like Baraka from Mortal Kombat, with new longer claws and Jason will be unmasked with a gun and he's cursed by a vampire! It's gonna be so coool!

Here's a new rumour (I know it's new because I'm just now about to make it up ;-): Yeah, they're making a movie called 'Freddy VS Jason VS The Survivor's Club' about all the victims of movie slashers who actually 'survived' at the end of the movies. They formed a club but alas are now being picked off one by one. Only ONE survivor of the survivors will remain. Who will it be? I'm guessing the chic from Friday the 13th Part 2 that drove the VW! LOL! Bee-atch was baaad! ;-)

I checked on imdb.com and that site has every movie and up and coming movies and it says nothing on there about it.
