my uncle was a member of the salvation army band in sheffield. One time..whislt the band was marching from an open air concert..they turned a corner and ran straight into the filming of a scene from the 80's drama "Threads"..the director kept the cameras turning and they ended up in the final cut..lol.

How do film-makers make newborn babies so life-like or "real" looking in films? I've noticed that in recent films that women will give birth and that the baby is shown with the umbilical cord and all, how do film-makers do this, special effects?
