hmmm...i've seen a few and i know that there are worse than this but the movie that always gets to me is Ringu...and the elevator scene in the Eye...::shudders::

Audition (unrated), Tale of Two Sisters is a little scary but it's an excellent story, great imagery. also Ringu I know there is more but I can't think of their titles! Oh The Eye had some eerie moments.

Oldboy and Neighbor No 13 come to mind.
I know they are more psychological horror, than monster horror,

Oh gosh I haven't watched any of those in decades! I always was laughing too hard`to take it seriously really?! The time lag between the mouths moving and the sounds was too funny.
