Is that movie really supposed to be a "scary" movie or is it "so dumb its funny"?

I saw the movie last night at the 10 pm screening.
Over all, I would say that the movie was pretty mediocre. It was a mixture of a 70's disaster movie, a creepy horror movie and some kind of down in the 'hood movie. The supporting actors were excellent and there were a few good scenes mixed in with the predictable action format. The editing was really bad; It felt like two movies sewn together.
The snakes were mostly just CGI. I was expecting more comedy. It seemed as though the producers tried to make an adult movie out of a more childish, teenager trashy movie because all of the comedy consisted of CGI snakes biting people in places that you would really hate to be bitten. (by a snake anyway)

I saw this movie last night. It is a good date movie. There were some scary scenes and some funny scenes. The move has alot of action in it, and you will never get bored. Overall, I give this movie 3 stars out of 5 stars.

i have heard it wasn't that tremendous of a movie, yet that's type of the perception. it truly is a nasty action picture, and it doesn't attempt to play you off and make you imagine that it has any cinematic fee by any skill. That, and the in uncomplicated words reason every person observed it grow to be to take heed to Samuel Jackson say "Mutha !@#$in' snakes on a mutha!@#$in' airplane!".

Yeah I going with a few mates then heading off to the pub afterwards, should be a riot. as for the other question I would go with the later.
EDIT - people it's meant to be funny that's the whole point of the movie don't take it so serious.

I guess "terrorists on the plane" plot is not so hot anymore, so let's see - this year's terrorists are snakes... whatever
