I really want to see it on DVD but my parents are like theres sex and stuff in it cuz of the PG-13 rating. So can you guys describe the "scene" to me so i can show my rents its harmless?

I loved this movie as a child and I was wondering if any of you knew this movie! :]

Well all that I remember is some things from the movie. It about a girl that is in a different world and there are monsters (including this man). There was a scene where she was dancing with the man in the ballroom and the song "Moonlight Sonata" was playing. The girl had brown longish hair and the man had medium length hair.

The cover of the movie (or one of the posters) had the man holding a crystal ball with an image of the girl in it. I believe the movie was made in the 1980's.

If you could tell me what movie this is I would love you forever! :] Thanks!

ok i am seeing a lot of talk about a movie, and i'm surprised this is just now coming up. First time i heard of a movie was at least 5 years ago.

this is the original idea for the movie. Dont know if it still stands or not.

Hannibal Smith; Mel Gibson
face; either brad pitt or leo decaprio (rumors since the original cast came out since it didnt list a cast for this role)
Ba Barrackus- Ving Rhaimes
Murdock (originaly no cast called) but Jim Carrey has been said to have been aproached for the role

Cameos at least at the time would include (at least)

dirk bennedict
Mr T
dwite shulz

George Peppard god rest his sole died in 1993


Ok since i heard all that, there has been a few changes

Not many web sites talk of this movie, but one told a different look

New charectors, no originals. same story line, but new look.

I would live with either but i think the cast shoudl stay as planned.

I heard a while back that Disney was going to make a movie about or including 'Ed "Big Daddy" Roths' Rat Fink character. I am not sure if this is a rumor or not. But if I recall correctly I read it in the LA times. I haven't been able to find anything about it, but if anyone knows anything please inform me. Thanks.

I recently watched "The Hills Have Eyes," and I have always been a scary movie fan. I'm also a believer in "if you don't like it, change the channel," but I watched this movie totally unprepared for what I saw. I think the whole movie was crap, but I was specifically bothered by the rape/assault scene in the camper on the two sisters. First of all, I have no idea what was supposed to be accomplished by the teen girl being raped, except to shock. The worst, though, to me, was when the nasty little guy sniffed the older sister/nursing mom's breasts, then started to nurse off of her, just before shooting her in the head. I was nursing at the time I saw this, and this scene bothered me beyond belief. For weeks I couldn't nurse my baby without thinking about that awful movie. Again, it served no purpose except to shock. They took something that's supposed beautiful and ruined it. I had to literally cringe every time I nursed my son, thinking of that scene. Do you think I'm silly?

I remember a speech Will Smith gave after receiving an award some time back where he stated that he worked harder than most people. In fact, part of his quote was "While ya'll are sleeping, I'm working". I found this to be very rude and incredibly incorrect.

Don't get me wrong, I like Will Smith's films, but I don't think that actors actually put in the amount of work that deserves $20 million dollars per film. Sure, they run around and have to do some stunts where they fall down and land on a pad, and maybe they have to wake up early on some days to get a shot, but hey, I have to wake up at 4:30AM EVERY day just to beat the morning traffic so I don't get stuck in grid lock. I don't see Will Smith doing that on a daily basis and getting paid only $50k a year... Oh no, he gets paid $20 MILLION to pretend to be someone for 3-6 months.. Yeah, REALLL tough work there buddy... Getting paid to "play".

Anyway, anyone here think that actors have hard jobs or that it's worth that much $?
