on tv they are acting and are often totally different to the real thing

Just put it this way, i was on a beach when a well known comedy was being filmed with 2 famous actors, the one i thought would be a very polite man just put his nose up in the air, the other one stopped and said hello i wasn't too amused at the time as it's us public that get them where they are by watching their programmes, still i don't hold it against him now and love his comedy programme perhaps he was having a bad day.

The ones I have met are sometimes a bit similar to there characters but this is just wee traits that come across from themselves when acting. Some are really lovely people and others are not very pleasant at all, just like all of us they vary loads.

The second part of the question is kind of funny.
They are ACTORS. They get paid to seem like someone else. If they were only being themselves, then they wouldn't be acting.

I have a famous family and of course they aren't all that. They are just like you and I. They fart, burp, swear and even have sex sometimes...WOW
It is us that makes them all that not them. Ok some actors get carried away and forget where thy come from but wouldn't you?

Of course they are different in real life, a certain amount of privacy should be expected from people working in the public eye! They're only human too!

I know enough, to know that most are very insecure, mentally unbalanced people, that are wacko jacko, off the planet as so to speak.

no of cause not they are rich and famous and they are just playing parts in movies thats why its called acting.

by watching many of their films you do get a rough idea on their basic makeup. in my humble opinion.
