I heard that there were plans for a mechwarrior movie to be made by the people who also did "Eight Legged Freaks"

What happened to it?

I haven't heard of a MW movie by Eight Legged Freaks, but there is a DAVE school MW trailer on wizkidsgames.com. They are making a short film, and it looks good from the trailer.
