I sort of asked this before, but maybe if I ask it a different way, I'll get closer to the answer I'm looking for. Musicals aren't terribly popular today, and the biggest reason I get for why not is that they aren't realistic. Yet, other very unrealistic movies are very popular: X-Men, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings. Why is it people are willing to suspend disbelief for action/sci-fi/fantasy movies, but not for musicals? They guy is so terrible at acting like a hard man it films that it is hilarious. Are we supposed to believe this guy can really beat up 10 men without getting so much as a black eye? It cracks me up to watch his fight scenes in films. Anyone agree?

I saw a trailer for this film years ago. I think he was looking at some sort of statue when he delivered the line, and in the film he may have had a monkey sidekick or I may be making that up. I don't want to see the film, it's just bothering me.

IT WAS A REALLY GOOD VIN DIESEL MOVIE. I TOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE STUPID BUT IT REALLY SURPRISED ME. HE DID GREAT AS A MUCH MUCH OLDER GUY.
