It has all the cliche characters teen movies have now: the black guy, the troubled guy who is really a nice guy deep down, the main girl who is smart and "going somewhere" in her life, the jock, and paris hilton. People who don't normally hang out together.
It was ok for scares, but the characters bothered me.

am i the only person who liked it? lol. i actually thought it was really good because there is not a lot of films that will make my boyfriend jump or squirm but he did with this one. i think the reason people dont like it is because its diferent and some people dont like diferent they like films to be the same every time so they are predictable. house of wax is not like that. i dont know of any film that has the same jist to it as this one. i think you should see it and judge for yourself.
omg iv just looked at gray matters links and one of the guys in the film is also in supernatural the tv series.

One of my daughter's friends brought it round for a sleepover. They had so manyu filme, they didn't get to watch it til the following morning - by which time i'd woken up. it's rubbish. To much horror and too little story line. It just seemed to be about getting the characters to the place where they would be murdered and then encased in wax

The old movie "House Of Wax" is really thrilling !!!
With Sir Vincent Price · Phillis Kirk and Charles Bronson ...
what a movie ... forget the new one ... generally spoken
I'm not against remakes, but this one wasn't worth the money !!!

I bought it on the sale rack at Target. It is worth the $8.00, but I wouldn't say it is a "Good" movie. the begining keeps you on the edge of your seat, but the more the characters and setting are developed the more it becomes a cheesey USA "UP! all night" kind of movie. Rent it and let mo know if I am wrong!

I thought it was ok some scarey bits but a bit predictable not sure why Paris felt she had to strip down to her red undies in the middle of no where but there you go, worth watching but does drag on a bit

a good watch once film, but never watch again after, paris hilton sucks at acting, but kinda OK

It was not very good. But honestly, it was a little bit better than I excpected it to be!! Paris Hilton is a terrible actor!!

don't bother watching it Paris Hilton is in it. That should be enough to tell you not to bother, if you wanna see it, download it or get a pirate version and then watch it. Paris Hilton is awful!!
