It's a story about how the lives or worlds of several people from different racial/social backgrounds collide over the course of one day. It is very well written and powerful and very moving in certain scenes. It challenges our ideas and preconceptions on "difference" without patronising or lecturing or giving any easy answers. Very entertaining & thought provoking, I really enjoyed this film and would recommend it to anyone who wants to see something special.

Tagline: You think you know who you are. You have no idea.
Plot Synopsis: For two days in Los Angeles, a racially and economically diverse group of people pursue lives that collide with one another in unexpected ways. These interactions are always interesting, and sometimes quite unsettling. The film explores and challenges your ability to judge books by their covers.
The movie was hard to watch in some scences because you feel for the characters. It is a great move and you should definitely rent it. I would get another movie to go along with it that is a little more cheerful so you are not depressed the whole weekend.

well let me start of by sayin its a great movie and its good 2 watch u should rent it. the story line behind crash is how different races persive each other and how racism is very much alive in our modern society and how its an continueus cycle of events that connect with each other inorder for us 2 confront our feelins about a certain race and we can truly see that it not what we see but how we think that makes us who we are. it also shows how no matter what the vicious cycle still continues no matter how our view point of that particular race has changed you might change but the world might not. SORRY IF THIS IS 2 LONG MESSAGE ME IF U HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

It is a GREAT movie. It shows a 24/48 hour period in the life of strangers and how their actions/reactions intersects their lives.
It also makes you think about preconceived racial stereotype.
I do recommend it.
