Do any main characters die? Do you think they will make a 3rd one?

Without ruining the movie (all the main characters are in the 3rd movie)
They filmed the 3rd one at the same time. It will come out memorial day 2007. Pirates of the Carribbean: At World's End
P.S. There is a small clip at the end of the credits. (not of the 3rd movie)

It appears that Captain Jack Sparrow was eaten by the giant squid, but we all thought that Barbosa was dead at the end of the first one but it appears he is not. I also know the Captain Jack is supposed to be int he 3rd one so I would guess that he is not in fact dead

The movie makes you think they killed off one of the main characters but I'm not quite sure if he is dead or not.

they are makeing a 3rd one
they set it up perfectly for one.
::spoliers...this is bascilly the end of the movie::
jack sposedly dies by the giant squid thing...but now the whole gang is going to sail "to the ends of the eart" (as the lady put it) captained by Cpt Barbosa (sp) to find jack...so thats what the 3rd one is going to be about

Saw it the other night...I'm not going to ruin what happens for people but there will definitely be a 3rd.

none of the main chracters die, but there is a cliffhanger at the end... and yes, they already finished filming the 3rd one.

They're already in the process of filming the third one, they filmed back-to-back. And it's obvious if you watch the second movie, they left loads of cliffhangers.

I hope to God it is better that PC2.
