IT WAS A REALLY GOOD VIN DIESEL MOVIE. I TOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE STUPID BUT IT REALLY SURPRISED ME. HE DID GREAT AS A MUCH MUCH OLDER GUY.

We rented it because Vin Diesel (my son's favorite actor). Despite the fact that he was going to play a middle age Italian mobster which I thought sounded lame and that he would never be able to pull off, but I was pleasantly surprised.

After about 10 mins. I forgot all about it being Vin Diesel with a rug and was reeled in by the offbeat-wise cracking thug-with-a-heart-of-gold towards his friends and family guy. Vin Diesel showed that he is a very, underrated, actor by his portrayal in this film.

The only downside was that the movie was based on a true story so long ago in real life (at least in comparison to the average age of Vin Diesel fans as it happened before they were born) that his fan base couldn't relate as well to it as his action-packed movies and older people who really would get a kick out of it have written him off as a Gen X or Y action hero.

The person he portrayed wasn't a much older guy. He only looked that way because they put a wig on him. The movie worked because it was a true story.
