Is it as crazy as it looks on the news? I only live 15 minutes from NYC but I've never been there for the Parade.

Hang loo roll out to dry if only wet

I live in Kentucky, USA, and have never been there; my father, however, has been to Hamilton and Toronto, Ontario on business trips and spoke very highly of both cities.

-What are the provinces and cities like? I've heard Vancouver, Victoria, and Edmonton are some of the most beautiful cities on the continent, with low crime rates at that.

-Speaking of crime rates, what are the safest and most unsafe areas of the country? Where I live in Kentucky, the murder rate is roughly 2.35 murders per 100,000 people, so it's pretty safe.

-How about the people? The Canadians I've met have been mixed--some friendly, some rather condescending. Are they similar to folks here in the United States, a mixed bag?

-What are the best and worst things about Canada otherwise?

I mean , so many people on Yahoo!Answers say they hate their country and they are ashamed but what about Land of the Free ?? Home of the Brave ????
