I need an opinion.....?

I am trying out for this Idol thing at my school and I am singing Hit Me With Your Best Shot and for those of you who know this song, there are eight, eight counts that are just instrumental. I thought about doing a dance with it, but it will look retarded. Need some help. What should I do for those eight, eight counts. I cant stand there and look like an idot.

I made my parents a Christmas letter and I'm not sure when to give it to them.?

It's a letter telling them that I love and thank them for all that they have done and continue to do and it's a letter of recognition. It's basically letting them know that I am thankful to have such great parents. I made it because it's all I can do to show my thanks since I don't have the money to buy them anything. I was going to put it on the fridge today but I'm not sure if I should wait or just put it up today. When should I do it?
