sorry........i didn't realise it was so hard....sorry for upsetting the Irish but i got it out of a book (popular Irish Jokes) published in Ireland.
This basicaly means the Irish unlike you lot can understand a joke and have a laugh...not all of you......bye

OK ME (and others) woodworms generally eat WOOD......this particular woodworm eat a BRICK.
the joke being that a brick is much harder than a peice of wood (the usual staple for said woodworm) however said woodworm continued through this tasty morsal until his (or hers) untimely demise
