would LA burn again like after the Rodney King trial?

Do people still care?
Is it still a race issue? Because it sure wasn't about the evidence.

White people are not really prone to burning down cities, but it's a wonder they didn't.

If, for "some reason" OJ is retried, then I think what will most be on people's minds is how the heck the country got to the point where one of the amendments in the Bill of Rights could be overturned.

At least, that particular question would bother me far more than anything OJ did or didn't do, assuming I hadn't got as far away from the US as I could by then.

OJ won't get locked up for murdering his wife and Ron Goldman. He's already been tried and aquitted. It wasn't a race issue. It was a stupidity issue, the prosecution had overwhelming evidence and they presented it stupidly (or not at all) and the jury was stupidly more impressed with Johnny Cochrane than the evidence that was presented.

He cannot be locked up for those murders. It's been too long since the last trial. Also, the judgment was set. He was found not guilty. People still care to a certain extent. If his book would have been published, I would not support the bastard by purchasing one. I know he did it, He knows he did it, God knows he did it, and Johnny is burning in hell for defending him.

Nah, I think it is old news and it would not generate the same reaction...I think the reason the reaction was so strong at the time was because of the Rodney King thing...not to mention the fact I think his "book" caused a lot of heads to swivel!

If it were possible to lock him up for the murders, justice would finally have been served. Unfortunately that will never happen. He can never be tried agaoin for those murders, even if he admits to the killings. (double jeparrdy). The jurors on the case need to be locked up in a mental institution.

Actually his aquittal was mainly about the prosecutor and detective screwing everything up. the aquittal in the Rodney King beating didn't appear to be about the evidence either.

One, he can't be locked up again. Two, I'm not sure people care that much at this point, but I don't even attempt to claim I have ability to guess the rationale of an angry mob.

I'm so sick about hearing about OJ. He's not the only person that's been accused of murder and go off. It happens every day.
Even if he confessed on the court house steps, there is nothing any one could do....Double Jeopardy!!~~~

I dont think its as big of issue as when his trial was going on, but it does looks like its still offends people if they took his book off the shelves.
