Does anyone know an easy-to-understand book on how to play the guitar? =)?

I never learned how to read music..i mean the notes, A and C and all of those are just like a pretty alien language to me...so, if anyone could perhaps recommend me a book on learning how to play a guitar, with the really basic stuff about music, like what the notes mean..and what are called and things like that, i would really, really appreciate it. =D

A man who just got a raise decides to buy a new scope for his rifle. He goes to a rifle shop, and asks the clerk to show him a scope.
The clerk takes out a scope, and says to the man, "This scope is so good, you can see my house all the way up on that hill."
The man takes a look through the scope, and starts laughing.
"What's so funny?" asks the clerk.
"I see a naked man and a naked woman running around in the house." the man replies.
The clerk grabs the scope from the man, and looks at his house. Then he hands two bullets to the man and says, "Here are two bullets, I'll give you this scope for nothing if you take these two bullets, shoot my wife's head off and shoot the guy's dick off."
The man takes another look through the scope and says, "You know what? I think I can do that with one shot!"

The correct way to ring the police(not really)?

George Phillips of Meridian, Mississippi, was going up to bed when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked, "Is an intruder in your house?" and he said no. Then they said that all patrols were busy, and that he should simply lock his door and an officer would be along when available. George said, "Okay," hung up, counted to 30, and phoned the police again.

"Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people in my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now 'cause I've just shot them all." Then he hung up.

Within five minutes, three police cars, an Armed Response unit, and an ambulance showed up at the Phillips residence. Of course, the police caught the burglars red handed.

One of the policemen said to George, "I thought you said that you'd shot them!"

George said, "I thought you said there was nobody available!"

Brokeback mountain, is it a good movie?

Other than the gay part is the story interesting? Is it a good movie? Because i really like mountain movies but the gay thing is really pushing me away from watching it! I am a straight man so what do you think?

P.S: My sister rented the movie and she hasen't watched it yet so i can't ask her...

Does anyone remeber that cartoon?

There was a cartoon that was on when I was younger and it wasn't the smurfs. It was those things that were kind of like smurfs but they had snorkle looking things that came out of their heads and they were all different colors...does anyone know what that cartoon was called?
