i love the simpsons cos of homer and bart and how dumb they are. my fave episode is 'homers enemy' the one with frank 'grimey' grimes.
family guy makes pretty much no sence at all but is very funny. my fave characters is stewie and brian. i dont have a fave episode of family guy cos there all so good.

The Simpsons started off better but it's got boring now (especially after the debacle of the unfunniest ever episode written by Ricky Gervais) and I prefer Family Guy now.
I always prefered Futurama to the Simpsons though.

I still prefer The Simpsons. Although some of the episodes have gotten a bit stale, I find Family Guy to be offensive sometimes.

I've loved the Simpsons for years and years. But it's gotten a little stale. So between the two right now it's Family Guy. But I still watch both.

Simpsons by far homer is the best character in the history of tv. I mean family guy is good but it kinda gets boring sometimes but simpsons is quickwitted and good all the way through!!

Its got to be Family Guy for the flashbacks to things that the Family do and obviously Stewie!! The Simpsons for still coming up with ideas and new stuff after 18+ seasons.

5 series of ball achingly funny moments.
I've got bored with The Simpsons, though series 5 - 8 will remain classics.

As soon as Matt left the Simpsons, it went into a fast downward spiral. It's not even fair to compare anything to the recent seasons, because anything will win up against it, even that new show The War at Home. Horrible stuff.

The Simpsons. I've tried really hard to get into Family Guy, and there's some good moments, but a lot of the humour is either too highbrow (obscure song / celebrity references), or too lowbrow and recurring.(farting, PBJ tme). Simpsons doesn't rely so heavily on running gags, and the humour appeals to most people. Family Guy is just a bit too cult for me, I guess!
