Do you think those people who always give a "thumbs down" to good answers should be named and shamed?

P.S give the question a thumbs down if you agree...lol

I don't think I'd shame them, but I would like to educate them.

The whole thumbs up/down thing was supposed to indicate whether something was appropriate for Yahoo!Answers altogether, not just personal agreement. That's why answers with many thumbs-down are inherently hidden - it is assumed that the answer is the kind of drek none of us want to see.

That's why I try to make a point of giving thumbs-ups to every answer that disagrees with mine but is still a good and valid answer. It's good to have a diversity of opinions, if they can all be backed up!

Did you honestly expect anything other than getting a boat load of thumbs down for such a question?

I did my job--"thumbs down"

Now I guess it's up to you to name me and shame me. BAHAHAHA

No. It's only a bit of fun.
You do get rewarded points for thumbs-up if your answer is chosen as best.

I find that it is usually because some people don't understand or appreciate the question or the answer. Or they haven't got a sense of humour.

Name and shame them all please!

No but I think that maybe they should be able to leave and anonymous reason why, so the person can fix it or something!

No. Everyone is entitled to their opinion & all they're doing is expressing themselves as best they can.

One person's good answer is another's bad answer.
