Friend - Music has always been a huge part of my life. I come from a generation where our music defined our social activism and angst. Throughout life I have come to love music in many forms. It does not help me concentrate per se, but it lifts my spirits and helps me relax, thereby allowing me to concentrate better. GBU

I can't stand silence, so I always need music on. I'm a teacher, so even when my students are working we listen to the radio. At home, either it's music or the TV. I mostly love to listen to music in the car so I can sing along.

Music is my drug!! It helps me concentrate, it helps me relax, it cheers me up, it calms me down, it makes me happy, it makes me sad, and it holds so many memories good and bad. I would go crazy without it! No matter what kind of drama I'm going through, music is the one constant in my life.

When I'm doing my work I love to listen to Mozart. Hell, I love listening to Herr Mozart anyways! But I listen to music becasue it communicates in a way that normal speech and the wrtten word can't.

i luv listening to music because it calms me down and it makes me happy- i dont think it helps me concentrate (unless dancing and singing along counts!!!!!!!)

yes, it really does help you concentrate.
It also helps me to relax and focus.

whenever i am doing homework or studying, i love to hear music because silence distracts me
