I saw a movie this weekend that was about the beginning of the Nazi invasion in germany. The movie was set in Germany and centered around a boy and a girl and the girl's teacher. The girl went to the American school and the boy went to the Nazi school. The boy fell in love with the girl (of course), but when the war broke out (they were adults by then), he was an officer in the Nazi army and she was sent to a labor camp because she was born in Germany. Her teacher tried to find her to get her out of the country. She refused. She did not agree with their ways and was very difiant & non-conforming. The boy wanted her to conform because they were going to sterilize her, she said no she would not, she ran, she was caught and they tried to whip her. He stopped it and they were both thrown in jail. They then went to trial and he denounced Hitler and the war on the radio-they were both shot.

Does anyone know a person named Cali Carlin? For some reason i got her auto-graph in the mail last-night. When i saw it i told myself ok this is random. Yes it was strange. Anyways i'm still thinking what should i do about it. Also its addressed to me, so minus well just keep it no matter what. Yes i'll just keep it in the near future.

As a child I remember some classical music featured in uk tv adverts - like the 'Old Spice' (after shave) adverts with Carl Orff's O Fortuna from Carmina Burana; Largo from New World Symphony by Dvorak. And only later found out that they were established classics.

What others can you come up with?
