Im pretty sure that there is a combination of buttons on the remote that need to be pressed but im not sure which ones.

Not sure what you mean by "TUNE" as most TV's these days are digital and not Veratic. If you want to 'tune in' a channel, just push the numbers of the desired channel. Some remotes have an "ENTER" button (likt he Phillips Tivo Remote) where you press the channel numbers adn then press ENTER. Most TV's however will take just the numbers are you press them.
