Originally, it was assumed they were hidden where ever he changed out of his clothing.
Now, it should be assumed that they are somewhere in outerspace, floating there waiting for him to reclaim then and return to earth. Admittedly, that would seem a bit of a stretch but it beats other scenarios. You will notice that they have done away with the phone booth these days. Instead, he seems to blur and then they cut away to him saving the day. In that moment of blur he places the clothes where they will not be discovered, presumably the atmosphere and swoosh he returns. Yes he could place them on a roof top but they might be discovered there. And yes, he is very fast so that is how it is possible.

Forget the glasses... where does he keep his clothes?? It's got to cost him a fortune stashing clothing all over the world for him to change back into anfter tearing the crap out of the ones he has on!

He hides them with his clothes when he changes. Because he has X-ray vision he can locate them when he is ready to change back. He probably keeps extra clothes and stuff hidden around the city.
