Ever wondered how **** came to be called so?? It appears that cow manure from the old ranching days was carried to be dumped in various dumping grounds in barges. The methane produced during fermentation while transporting was lethal, and many crewmen died of asphyxiation when they entered the holds of the barges, methane being a heavy gas and settling at the bottom of the hold.. Later, a method was deviced to carry the manure in crates. these were laelled "Ship High In Transit" so that ppl would know that they contained manure and were not meant to be put in the hold!! Gradually these boxes came to bew known as **** boxes going by the acronym, and soon the contents became known as S**T!!!!!!!
