Today my english teacher told me that from my essays, he got the idea that I'm very dirty minded. but i did not write anythin bad, i mean no adult content or anything
it was only jokes and it was quite funny :) and i got an A anyway :D


what do you think he meant by that?

how can i ask my teacher to help me w/ my work strongly but not directly implying that my teacher really doesn't have to if he/she is not up to it/has stuff to do etc. (stressed out teacher i have) i mean i know m yteacher can always say no but i still want to imply that my teacher ought to not help if he/she is tired etc.

Some credit card transactions ask for the expiration date, which to some people sounds as if the credit card is breathing out!

The verb expire means to cease, to end, to come to finish or to breathe out.

The noun expiration means the state of doing these things.

Which is correct: expiry date or expiration date of a credit card?

Please explain.
