This refers to words such as cleave (be tightly together; & cleave apart): let (allow on one hand, forbid on the other):
fast (move quickly, or stuck fast). Are there any others? And don't say 'sex': different meaning as they are complementary, not opposites, despite common usage.

For Example: In order to maximize our revenue, we need to think outside the box and facilitate our resources and utilize our task force team to generate a win-win situation.

Why can't they just say: If our company doesn't make money, you will be let go.

Can somebody explain why, in both corporate lingo terms and in simple layman's terms? I will be much obliged and reward you handsomely with 10 units of Yahoo rewards if you can reveal your competency. Or in other words, 10 points for the best answer.

While chatting with friends the other day one of them described something as being a buttload...I have used this phrase many times myself, yet couldn't help but ask...
What exactly is a buttload, and how many gerbils does that equal? More importantly who decided what it was and how many of what object constituted a buttload? Did some dude sit around one day shoving various objects in there and then decide that at some point it was full and therefore a buttload? Sorry I couldn't help myself.
